The Monash Institutes of Health (MIH) represents a co-operative organisation encompassing a number of Australia's leading biomedical research organisations. Organised as two major sites within 15-25 minutes from the centre of Melbourne in the State of Victoria, MIH represents approximately 2000 research staff and budgets in excess of $AUD100 million per annum.

MIH offers full service biotechnology facilities taking research from the benchtop to the bedside and beyond through unique combinations of -

  • discovery;
  • large cross-section of research areas;
  • clinical, scientific and management talent;
  • significant capacity for clinical trials;
  • links to extensive primary care programs;
  • extensive incubator facilities;

MIH brings together over 2000 highly skilled personnel involved in both platform, applied and clinical research at the university, teaching hospitals and most importantly, the specialised world-class research institutes.
