  2. We are involved in the utilization of periodontal mesenchymal stem cells as well as autologous periodontal ligament fibroblasts, cementoblasts and osteoblasts for periodontal regeneration. We are investigating a three-pronged approach to this using

    I. Targeted cell delivery in novel biodegradable scaffolds
    II. Bilateral cell seeding on periodontal regenerative membranes
    III. Delivery of in vitro generated biomatrices incorporating specialized cells of the periodontium
