- Current research activities
The current activity relates to the design of scaffolds with
particular attention to pore volume, pore size, pore shape, pore
interconnectivity, pore wall microtopography and the effect of
these aspects on mechanical strength, fluid flow, drug release
and the effect on stem cells and osteoprogenitor cells. Other
activities relate to the investigation of embryonic stem cell
response to chemically enriched apatites, charge modified polylactic
acid, microtopographies.
