Élan Group Limited (Élan) is a private company limited
by shares.
Élan has a Joint Venture with the American company Meditech
Pharmaceutical (Meditech) symbol: MDCH.NET. JV Newco to be listed
on NASDAQ, patents remain vested in Australian company, technology
to be licensed to Newco & USA manufacturer.
Newco Product: Agricultural application of a compound for prevention
of aflatoxin poisoning, particularly of peanut crops.

Technology
Defence Product designated: HAZBIC-MD
Élan has developed a detection capability for hazardous
biological materials, and produced a bench-top prototype. Nineteen
biological/organic substances have been calibrated (including one
of the bacillus anthrasis genus), with detection at 100% validation
through paper envelopes.

1. Detect and discriminate between strains within species and hazard/clean
mixes of multiple hazardous biological substances and chemicals.
2. Maximize safety, minimize staff disruption and the expense of
hoaxes.
3. Adapt in-line for vulnerable government & corporation mailrooms.
4. Enhance safety of front line defence and emergency personnel.
Description of Technology
Scanner delivers light to the target and returns a signal interpreted
by detectors and algorithms, instantly identifying the target, through
barriers, as hazard or hoax on LCD readout.
Further Applications
Register Device enables accurate varietal differentiation and
price determination at the point of sale.
Aflatoxin retail detection device is for installation at point
of sale.
Agricultural detection device determines vigour, nutritional and
water status of plants at tissue culture, nursery and fruit grower
stages for berries, wheat, cotton grape and others. Enabling farmers,
wholesalers, retailers, and supermarkets to determine fruit quality.
